
whats new! - this file is very very rough, so it probably won't help anyone
out much. it will probably only be useful to testers of the beta 1 or earlier
releases. it will be reset for any releases after this one for easier

  work on darkness, all I need to do is get a schedule going so I can work on
  it every free afternoon I have. Even though I didn't do a damn bit of coding
  today I did print out my latests todo list for darkness and I spent most of
  the morning setting up an old computer for test purposes. now I can dial in
  remotly and test it as well as run a copy of darkness on it under different
  OSes. should help out in the final stages a lot.

% i haven't messed with darkness in quite a while, a lot of my enegry was
going to working on my first igm for darkness, which is turning out to be
a large undertaking... i decided i would go ahead and release beta 2
publically just in case i never touch this again.

+ due to popular request i added an exit confirmation prompt, apparently
  a lot of people were accidently exiting... no is the default answer.
- removed the back doors i had in for testing purposes. there were two, one
  ran a monster fight of choice, one would run an event of choice... if these
  had been discovered/leaked cheating would ruin the game. don't worry though,
  those were the only 2 and now they're gone.
! again, due to popular request, i have made special attacks in player fights
  only work on high levels, not equal or lesser level foes.
